Cree
Language

If you go to Chisasibi and we hope that you do, you will hear people speaking a language that has its roots perhaps older than the pyramids of Egypt.

"It can be argued that the native language spoken by an individual shapes the way in which he thinks about reality. The reality an individual observes is organized and becomes meaningful entirely in terms of the specific language he speaks." - Rodney A. Clifton
Semantic Structures In Cree Language

Upon listening to our guides speak this ancient language,  I could neither figure out whether or not it had an Asian of European sound.   All I can say is that it was both musical and meaningful.  I wished that I had more time to spend to learn how to say a few words. - J. Lor
